Why Procedural Workflows Matter in VFX
Traditional 3D tools require manual adjustments for every change, but Houdini's node-based procedural network allows artists to build systems that automatically adapt to changes. If a director requests a fire simulation to behave differently, the artist adjustments update the entire network without rebuilding assets from scratch.

- Pyro FX & Fire Simulations: Learn density controls, buoyancy, and velocity vectors to create explosions.
- FLIP Fluid Dynamics: Simulate water splashes, oceanic waves, and liquid pours using adaptive grid solvers.
- Rigid Body Dynamics (RBD): Fracture concrete structures, simulate collapse physics, and generate dust debris.
